Thomas Roback, Jr., Managing Director, has worked in the accounting, investment and ESOP industry for over 24 years. He is an expert in ESOP, 401(k) and equity compensation administration. Mr. Roback received his MBA from the University of Baltimore and a BS in Accounting from the College of William and Mary. He is a Qualified 401(k) Administrator, Certified Equity Professional and the Immediate Past Chair on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Employee Ownership. Tom is also the Vice President-Membership for the ESOP Association’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter and the Secretary for the Central Virginia Employee Benefits Council (CVEBC). He is a member of The ESOP Association, American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries, Employee-Owned S Corporations of America, Exit Planning Exchange, and the National Center for Employee Ownership.
Gregory S. Washburn, Principal is an attorney with over 21 years of experience in interpreting and implementing U.S. Treasury Department and other government regulations. He was Vice President of Corporate Finance for an international investment bank. In his twenty years of practice in the legal and finance fields, Mr. Washburn has structured and closed such complex financial transactions as management buyouts, industry consolidations, going-private transactions, and public offerings. He has broad industry experience in financial services, communications and technology, with particular expertise in the business services industry. He is a member of several state bar associations. Mr. Washburn received his BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut, his JD from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Jon A. Williams, Plan Administrator, began his professional career in the United States Army and served in the Iraq war. He entered the ESOP world as an Associate with Blue Ridge ESOP Associates after obtaining a degree in Accounting at Virginia Commonwealth University. Jon has received the title of Plan Administrator with Blue Ridge ESOP Associates and been with our firm for almost 7 years. Jon Williams will be facilitating the ESOP Administration - Basics, Cycle and Current Issues on Friday afternoon.
