Last night, House Democrats appointed ten new members to the House Ways and Means Committee. House Democrats added to their current 14-member Committee roster in the wake of their 39 seat gain in the 2018 midterm elections, and because of the retirement of longtime Ways and Means member Sander Levin (D-MI-9) and the loss of Rep. Joe Crowley (D-NY-14). Democrats will have a total of 24 Members of the Ways and Means Committee for the 116th Congress. Republicans are expected to appoint their new Committee members next week. Listed below are the new Democratic Ways and Means additions with information on their congressional district and a link to a their district map. If your company has a facility, job site, or employee-owners in any of the Member districts listed below, we would be interested in working with you on organizing a Member visit. · Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-20-CA) · District includes all of all of Monterrey and San Benito Counties, and parts of Santa Clara and Santa Cruz Counties · District map here · Rep. Gwen Moore (D-WI-4) · District includes parts of Milwaukee County and including all of the city of Milwaukee and its suburbs of Cudahy, St. Francis, South Milwaukee, and West Milwaukee. · District map here · Rep. Dan Kildee (D-MI-5) · District is located in the mid-region of the lower peninsula of Michigan and includes Arenac, Bay, Genesee, and Losco counties as well as parts of Saginaw and Tuscola counties. · District map here · Rep.
